He, is a true man, tried as well as true, and will do his full duty during the campaign. Congressional Convention. The Democrats of the Sixth Con gressional District met in Convention yesterday at Lumber ton and the result of their deliberations wa3 announced in yesterday's issue of the Review. At 12 o'clock the Convention was called to order by Chairman V. V. Richardson and on his motion Mr. D S. Cowan, of Columbus county, was called to the chair, with T. S. Ashe, Secretary Merely a Hippie. There was a ripple of excitement this morning at the foot of Market street. A dray loaded with seven trunks was coming around Koch s; corner when in consequence of the los3 of a nut one of the wheeU cams off. This threw the driver to the cround and one of the truncks falling forward on the horse tie started to run. During the month of August there were 17 interments in Oak Grove Cem etery in this city, as we learn from Capt. F. M. James. Of these 5 were adults and 12 were children, Of the adults 2 were white and were colored and all the children were coK ored.
